Day 3: Marrakech– Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate – Dades valley

The Atlas Mountains greet you on the third day of your 9-day tour from Marrakech as you cross the Tizi-n-Tichka pass to the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Gladiator and Game of Thrones popularized Ait Ben Haddou's history. Ouarzazate's Atlas Film Studios and Kasbahs are next. Ouarzazate is on a desolate plateau south of the High Atlas Mountains at 1,560 meters (5,120 ft). With wide avenues, stone buildings, and French colonial hotels, it seems modern. "Gateway to the Sahara" is another moniker for this little city. Although small, Ouarzazate is diversified. The city has several well-preserved Moroccan kasbahs. Babel and Lawrence of Arabia were filmed in the Taourirt Kasbah, the most famous. You'll like Atlas Studio. The facility contains actual Moroccan towns, Roman cities, and Arabic markets for shooting. From Marrakech, you'll go to the rose valley, home of the Festival of Roses. You'll stay at a nearby hotel in Dades Gorge and have supper.

Day 4: Dades valley – Todra gorges – Merzouga desert

After breakfast, you'll visit Morocco's longest river, the Draa. You'll pause to photograph the roadside kasbahs, Berber villages, and Draa valley's natural beauty. Todra Gorges follow. Todra Gorges is a popular Moroccan tourist destination. The High Atlas Mountains' Todra River carved the gorge. Climb boulders, traverse the canyon, or swim in the river. Explore the gorge's tunnels. After lunch at Nkob or Alnif, it's two hours to the Merzouga dunes. "Desert of fine-grained sand dunes." Entering the desert requires switching to an animal-powered vehicle. The moving dunes change the scenery. Like nomad families, you will stay in camel hair tents at the camp. Play drums beneath the stars, dine, and sleep in a Berber tent with the camel guides. The vastness, absence of light pollution, and feeling of oneness with the cosmos make stargazing there amazing. The desert night sky is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Stars are brighter and constellations are visible. Finally, join the Berbers in fireside singing and dancing. It symbolizes Berber delight.

Day 5: Merzouga – Ziz valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane-Fes

You travel north from Marrakech on your 8-day tour. After breakfast, you'll drive through the world's biggest palm grove, Tafilalet. After flowing down from the high Atlas, the river feeds a palm plantation in the Ziz Valley. From this high elevation, you'll see the valley and Aoufous settlement. You'll stop again in Midelt, in the Atlas Mountains, for lunch and a rest. Afternoons in the Cedar Woods will bring monkeys. The barbary macaque that lives in Azrou's forest makes you stop for photos. Next is Ifrane, 1630 meters above sea level on the northern side of the Middle Atlas. Its broad avenues, pristine urban development, gardens, green areas, and architecture resemble a Swiss town. Ifrane feels lost in Morocco. Michlifen is a major ski resort and known as "the Moroccan Switzerland" because of this. Its nightlife is fueled by its many pubs and clubs. In the evening, you'll arrive in Fez and stay at a Medina Riad.

After a tasty breakfast, the 7th day of your 8-day trip from Marrakech will begin. Take some shots of the empty streets before you leave for your next stop. Explore the complex to find churches, murals still in place, and trader homes with heating systems that still work. Next, we went to Meknes, which was the royal city and the Ismailis' center. In Bab Al-Mansour, people will go to the Sahrij Souani pond, the royal stable, and the granary. Next, we'll take you to RABAT, our city, where you can see the Hassan Tower, which was built in the 11th century. We will eat lunch before going to Casablanca, which is the center of business in Morocco. The Hassan 2 Mosque, which is the second largest in the world, will be our first stop in Casablanca.
