DAY 1: MARRAKECH - AIT BEN HADDOU - DADES VALLEY
Departure from Marrakech to Merzouga starts with acrossing the dramatic landscape of the High range passing through the Berber town of Taddert and over the 2260 meters high Tizi-in-Tichka pass with stops for panoramic views and taking pictures of the Berber villages and its beautiful landscape, we are going to stop at the famous Ait Ben haddou Kasbah where you'll visit its Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Several films, including Gladiator, Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara with Penelope Cruz, were shot in this stunning setting. After the visit, we are going to still Ouarzazate The Hollywood of Africa also referred to as “The gateway to the desert”, through the “Road of the thousand Kasbahs”- "Sand castles" are fascinating. We'll continue on our journey to Kalaat Mgouna, often known as "the rose city," for its roses and yearly festival held during the rose harvest in May, before arriving at Dades Valley for the primary night of our 3 DAYS TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO MARRAKECH VIA SAHARA DESERT.
ITINERARY
DAY 2: DADES VALLEY - MERZOUGA
After breakfasting within the hotel, we Leave the Dades valley towards Tinrghir and therefore the Todra Gorges, The best oasis valley gorge in Morocco, with panoramic views of the valley's historic mud Berber towns. Arrive in the Gorge and take a walk beneath the 300-meter-high red wall, where many rock climbers come to practice their favorite sport. Continuing our trip to Erfoud famous for its fossilized marbles, before we head right down to Merzouga, where you may meet your camel to Trek through the desert, over the red dunes, until all you see is sand and sky, and therefore the quiet is simply broken by the occasional snort of the camels and therefore the soft sound of their steps on the sand. Stop to observe the sunset along the way before Arriving at your camp, where you'll be welcomed with mint tea and cookies.
